End of year Reflection

This semester histology has been my favorite class, by far. This class has allowed me to apply my learning outside of the classroom in conversations and also in the workplace. Learning about the tissues in detail will help me ease into my graduate level courses smoothly and hopefully give me a head start in certain areas. This class was great because we covered almost all of the major organ systems and linked them together journeyed through the course. For example, even though the tissue over view was one of the first chapters we studied, we never failed to mention what type of epithelial lining covered the different organs. I appreciated the time we had in lab to see the tissues we talked about in class first-hand. One recommendation that I believe would enhance the class even further is dissecting tissues and/or preparing slides of our own.             All of the information I have learned is very relevant to my future goals and will not just be information I crammed for exams.
